Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to participate in Israelectrochemistry 2012, which continues the tradition of annual electrochemistry meetings bringing together electrochemists from academia, research centers and industry.
The 2012 electrochemistry meeting honors Professor Emanuel Peled (short CV) on the occasion of his 70th birthday and will take place at Tel Aviv University on July 2, 2012
Modern electrochemistry is a cornerstone of industry, technology and medicine. By developing low-cost and improved electrical-energy-storage systems, it enables increased utilization of renewable energy sources, such as wind turbines and solar farms and the introduction of electric cars. It provides improved communications, information exchange, situation awareness and diversified medical capabilities. Electrochemistry is expected to remarkably change our daily life.
Therefore the theme of the 2012 meeting is: Electrochemistry for a Better Future.
We encourage researchers to submit their contributions (oral presentations and posters), which deal with various aspects of electrochemistry, from sensing to energy and from basic research to applications, and to attend the meeting.
Abstracts should be submitted by e-mail to: israelectrochemistry2012@gmail.com before 15.4.2012, according to the instructions posted in the Israelectrochemistry 2012 website: http://golod.tau.ac.il/
The abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee.
Notice of acceptance will be sent until 15.5.2012.
